Glass is said to have formed accidentally for the first time, through heat, in a Phoenician community in 5000 BC and the first objects discovered were formed in Egypt and Mesopotamia in 3500 BC. Glass making in our region, especially in Rogaška Slatina has a long history dating back to 1665 where the so-called forest glass huts were found. Industry brought about factories, increasingly developed and successfull, which grew to be world-renowned and recognized. One such is a glassworks factory, which has celebrated its ninetieth anniversary. In the course of its development and growth a number of small glass workshops like ours were set up because of the increased need of specific, unique and often original glass products. Two of them were golden glass tiles and smalti mosaics for which we are enthusiactic to help bulid histroy and maintain the heritage.

2000 years old tradition
Products
We have a honour to keep over 2000 years old tradition still alive with producing handmade gold mosaic. Our mosaic is made from different carat gold all the way from 23,75 carat yellow gold to 6 carat white gold or paladium (Eytzinger Germany ) and Belgian crystal glass,which is chemical, abrasive and thermoshock resistant. Mosaic is made in Slovenia EU.
